An Italian non-heading broccoli (also known as broccoli raab or broccoli rabe), rapini is grown for flavorful, asparagus-like spring shoots and leaves; it is great for cooking or in salads. High in vitamin A and so delicious!

This is a great addition for your fall salads. We add it to our Cabbage Salads. Also very great tasting lightly steamed.,

Peppers prefer rich, loamy soil. You can easily get this soil type by tilling in an inch or so of good, organic compost. Be careful with nitrogen, though. Peppers react well to nitrogen, growing so quickly that they are more disease-prone and won't produce as much.
